The festival of Karva Chauth was celebrated on Wednesday, and it was all the more special for actors Kiara Advani and Parineeti Chopra, who were celebrating it for the first time. While Kiara and Sidharth Malhotra got married in February, Parineeti and politician Raghav Chadha tied the knot in September.
Kiara and Parineeti shared their mehendi designs on Instagram. While Kiara went for a minimalistic design, Parineeti went for a more traditional design.
Kiara Advani got a small star drawn on the middle of her hand, whereas Parineeti Chopra got a meticulous design made of a woman doing Karva Chauth pooja.

Interestingly, Kiara Advani and Parineeti Chopra had chosen Rajasthan as their wedding destination. While Kiara and Sidharth got married in Jaisalmer, Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot in Udaipur.
Several other celebrities also celebrated the festival of Karva Chauth. On the occasion, television’s favourite couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya posted a video of themselves mimicking the ‘just looking like a wow’ meme. The caption of the video read, “It’s a wow Karvachauth.”

Bipasha Basu, who is married to Karan Singh Grover, posted a throwback picture from their firt Karva Chauth celebration. She wrote in the caption, “Our first Karwa Chauth post our wedding.Time has flown by so fast.
